Setting a Standard for Authentic Experiential Travel in China.
We showcase China's most unique and captivating travel destinations and experiences.
Eastogo is a travel company built by China travel experts and passionate explorers. Deeply rooted in authentic, experiential and wildlife expeditions across China, we design journeys you won’t find anywhere else on the market. Our mission is to set the benchmark for experience-driven, culturally immersive travel in China.
With a team in which half are dedicated Product Managers, we spend years on the ground in every province, uncovering the most genuine local encounters and crafting them into meaningful travel experiences.
Whether you dream of tracking elusive snow leopards across the vast Tibetan Plateau, learning meditation in a secluded cave where Tibetan lamas have practiced for centuries, spending a day living as a nomad, exploring the art and history of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism, diving into Shanghai’s electric nightlife, volunteering with giant pandas in Chengdu, or trekking around the sacred Mount Kailash, we make it happen.
Connecting the World with the Real China and Its 5,000 Years of Heritage
From hitchhiking across China with foreign travellers to bringing guests into traditional Tibetan weddings, Eastogo is built on one simple belief: that the most meaningful journeys are those where real human connections happen.
We are, and always will be, an idealistic company — driven by experience, guided by product thinking, and committed to creating travel that is truly experiential and authentic.
China has only recently emerged as a major travel destination, and for many people, the country is still reduced to pandas, the Great Wall, and the Terracotta Army.
We are here to guide you far beyond the familiar, to the sacred and mysterious lands of Tibet, the culturally diverse valleys of Yunnan, the cave worlds of Guizhou, the ancient wooden architecture of Shanxi, and the snow leopard realms of Qinghai.
We aim to help travellers discover not only China’s iconic highlights, but also its lesser-known treasures: hidden villages, sacred mountains, remote grasslands, living traditions, and stories passed from one generation to the next.
Through immersive, thoughtfully crafted journeys, we connect people with the real China — a place of depth, contrast, and wonder. Because it’s not just about where you go, but how you experience it, and who you meet along the way.
Everyone at Eastogo shares the same philosophy: a genuine love for travel and a commitment to creating the best possible experience for every guest who journeys from afar.
Our experts bring deep on-the-ground knowledge, years of field experience, and an unwavering passion for exploration. Whether you’re seeking cultural immersion, wilderness adventure, or once-in-a-lifetime encounters, our team is dedicated to crafting China expeditions you will remember forever.

Outside of work, she loves hiking, skateboarding, and wandering into mountain villages to chat with locals. Her deep field experience and strong relationships with local communities allow her to design journeys that feel genuinely real—less like a typical tour, and more like exploring the wild with a knowledgeable friend.

She believes a great wildlife journey protects habitats, respects local communities, and still feels effortless and inspiring for travelers.
Nancy has explored most of mainland China as well as Asia, Europe, and the United States. She’s known for intimate, on-the-ground planning: quiet viewing windows, ethical operators, seasonal timing, and stays that immerse guests in nature. Her undergraduate thesis, “Visitor Emotional Characteristics at Wildlife Tourism Destinations — A Case Study of Giant Panda Tourism,” received an Outstanding Thesis distinction and continues to shape her approach to field design.

Since entering the travel industry, Serena has focused on creating thoughtful and heartfelt journeys throughout Western Sichuan and the greater western regions of China. She excels at blending natural landscapes, Tibetan culture, and comfortable pacing, designing trips that feel both adventurous and reassuring.
To Serena, a great western China journey should bring travelers closer to the land: understanding local culture, feeling the stillness and vastness of the mountains, and moving at an easy, enjoyable rhythm.
Born and raised in Chengdu, she heads to Western Sichuan whenever she has the chance; it has become almost a second home. She knows its mountain roads and highland villages by heart, and she always knows where to find the softest light, the widest grasslands, and the most authentic expressions of Tibetan life.

At Eastogo, we uphold a simple promise: your satisfaction defines our success.
If your experience falls short of expectations, we will return all agency profits, retaining only the essential service fees for drivers and guides. This is our guarantee of fairness and transparency.
We are fully certified by the China Ministry of Culture and Tourism and backed by a 200,000 RMB government-mandated security deposit, ensuring strict compliance, guest protection, and our unwavering commitment to responsible travel.
Investing Everything Into Extraordinary Travel
For us, a journey is never a financial product — it is a living, evolving experience. We are committed to uncovering the most authentic stories, people, and hidden corners of every destination.
At each location, we collaborate with local experts who have spent over eight years exploring the region and truly know how to experience it at its best. Every destination, our product managers spend up to two months on-site, building meaningful connections with local communities and discovering the most genuine, original experiences for our guests.
Every scouting trip includes well-travelled travel content creators who test our routes and provide professional feedback, helping us refine and polish each itinerary.
Once a trip officially launches, we designate one guest on every departure as our “quality guardian.” Their insights and suggestions ensure that our journeys consistently meet — and continue to evolve with — the highest international standards.
Our pricing
As a Destination Management Company based in China, we work directly with local partners across every province — from experience providers and boutique hotels to restaurants, drivers, and expert guides. This direct, on-the-ground collaboration allows us to deliver the best possible price for the same level of quality, without unnecessary intermediaries or inflated markups.
Because we manage everything at the source, we maintain full control over service standards, safety, authenticity, and pricing transparency. Our long-term partnerships also mean we receive priority access, insider knowledge, and unique experiences that are not available through typical agencies.
By staying close to the ground and close to our partners, we ensure every journey is crafted with precision, authenticity, and unmatched value.
Giving Back
Responsible travel at our hearts
We give back by supporting local Tibetan herder families through our snow leopard tracking program. A portion of your trip fee helps fund compensation for livestock losses, strengthens our community-run spotting network, and promotes harmony between people, wildlife, and the fragile highland ecosystem.
