Setting a Standard for Authentic Experiential Travel in China.
We showcase China's most unique and captivating travel destinations and experiences.

Eastogo is a travel company built by China travel experts and passionate explorers. Deeply rooted in authentic, experiential and wildlife expeditions across China, we design journeys you won’t find anywhere else on the market. Our mission is to set the benchmark for experience-driven, culturally immersive travel in China.

With a team in which half are dedicated Product Managers, we spend years on the ground in every province, uncovering the most genuine local encounters and crafting them into meaningful travel experiences.

Whether you dream of tracking elusive snow leopards across the vast Tibetan Plateau, learning meditation in a secluded cave where Tibetan lamas have practiced for centuries, spending a day living as a nomad, exploring the art and history of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism, diving into Shanghai’s electric nightlife, volunteering with giant pandas in Chengdu, or trekking around the sacred Mount Kailash, we make it happen.

Connecting the World with the Real China and Its 5,000 Years of Heritage

From hitchhiking across China with foreign travellers to bringing guests into traditional Tibetan weddings, Eastogo is built on one simple belief: that the most meaningful journeys are those where real human connections happen.

We are, and always will be, an idealistic company — driven by experience, guided by product thinking, and committed to creating travel that is truly experiential and authentic.

China has only recently emerged as a major travel destination, and for many people, the country is still reduced to pandas, the Great Wall, and the Terracotta Army.

We are here to guide you far beyond the familiar, to the sacred and mysterious lands of Tibet, the culturally diverse valleys of Yunnan, the cave worlds of Guizhou, the ancient wooden architecture of Shanxi, and the snow leopard realms of Qinghai.

We aim to help travellers discover not only China’s iconic highlights, but also its lesser-known treasures: hidden villages, sacred mountains, remote grasslands, living traditions, and stories passed from one generation to the next.

Through immersive, thoughtfully crafted journeys, we connect people with the real China — a place of depth, contrast, and wonder. Because it’s not just about where you go, but how you experience it, and who you meet along the way.

Everyone at Eastogo shares the same philosophy: a genuine love for travel and a commitment to creating the best possible experience for every guest who journeys from afar.

Our experts bring deep on-the-ground knowledge, years of field experience, and an unwavering passion for exploration. Whether you’re seeking cultural immersion, wilderness adventure, or once-in-a-lifetime encounters, our team is dedicated to crafting China expeditions you will remember forever.

Why Eastogo

Our Reviews

Recognised worldwide by top travel creators as a leader in China’s experiential travel

  • Writing a review for the unforgettable trip to Tibet we took with Eastogo is a true pleasure. From the very beginning, the team at the Chengdu agency showed exceptional professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. Zoey and Maize were not only efficient and well-organized, but also deeply caring and always ready to respond to our needs with grace and kindness. Panda, our driver, was a steady and reassuring presence, guiding us safely through the majestic and sometimes challenging Tibetan landscapes. Throughout the journey, we experienced moments of awe and wondersacred monasteries nestled among snow-capped peaks, silent sunrises over high-altitude plateaus, and heartfelt encounters with local people that will stay with us forever. Each day brought new discoveries and deep emotions, allowing us to connect not only with the breathtaking natural beauty of Tibet, but also with its profound spiritual energy. We have always loved China, but traveling with Eastogo allowed us to deepen our understanding and appreciation of the country's rich cultural heritage and historical depth. Their passion, knowledge, and care transformed a simple trip into a transformative experience. Thank you, Eastogo, for making our dream journey come true. Thank you, China, for welcoming us with your immense soul. Vincenzo & Benedetta

  • We had a 5 days journey with those guys and let me tell you, everything was perfect: from the itinerary they made for us to the driver we have been assigned. You can talk with them about every aspect of your trip. If you don't like something they will change it. If you have any question they will answer you immediately. The structures we've been in were so nice. Even when our journey with them finished they helped us providing a lot of informations the following days. I tried to think about feedbacks for them to improve but nothing came to my mind. The fact is that they really know how to do this job, they have the contacts on the territory and the experience to understand what fits better for you. Our trip in Sichuan was unforgettable and all the credit goes to this travel agency. Fair prices too. 5 stars does not describe how good this travel agency is. They work with passion and you can feel it. Chapeau.

  • Professional, responsible, and a fun loving travel company explored parts of Sichuan and Yunnan with Eastogo. It was unforgettable. I have never felt so taken care of, especially when I fell ill due to altitude sickness at Tagong. The biggest highlights of this company are a deep sense of responsibility and professionalism. They ensure that their guests are safe, comfortable, and are having a good time. The team is made up of young travel enthusiasts, so you can imagine the kind of experiences they offer: meditation with a Buddhist monk, living with a Tibetan nomadic family, learning thanka painting at Shangri-la, to name just a few. I am returning soon to explore other parts of China with Eastogo.

  • We traveled with this agency this summer and had an absolutely amazing experience. From the very beginning, they were extremely kind and helpful, always ready to respond to our needs with professionalism and care. The assistance throughout the trip was constant and attentive, making us feel supported every step of the way. The itinerary they designed in Western Sichuan was simply incredible - authentic, well thought out, and full of unique experiences far from the typical tourist routes. We highly recommend choosing them to plan your trip to China. Their professionalism, passion, and attention to detail truly make a difference!

  • The experience was great from the start to the end. The organization was perfect! We had an itinerary before starting, but the agency was ready to change it if the weather condition were bad. Every night, we had information very detailed, for what we would visit the day after. During the they we had lot of time to explore the places and the driver was very helpful with everything. Most of all, flexibility was on point! And the landscapes were stunning!

    Giandomenico Nigro Imperiale

  • Traveling with them felt like having friends guiding us - always listening, tailoring every step to our wishes, and taking us to countless hidden gems we'd have never found on our own.

    Elia Castangia

  • We did a 6 days tour in Western Sichuan and we had a great experience! Zoey was extremely helpful, always available for any inconvenience came up during the trip! The car was extremely comfortable and our driver, Wang, was perfect. Moreover Zoey helped us in solving a problem that nothing had to do with the trip...and this made the very difference! Always thank for your help and kindness! We normally love to travel by our selves, never using travel agency, but in this case we decided to let Eastogo schedule our itinerary, giving them just few indications about what we would have liked to see, because western Sichuan is not so easy to reach...they totally match our wish! I would highly recommend them!

    Daniela Ferraresi

  • This is how you want your trip to be organized: thorough information about what to do, see and eat at each spot leaving you the full flexibility to choose what you enjoy the most. Thanks to Maize and Zoey for taking us on such short notice and a special shoutout to Jeffrey for the amazing company and driving.

Investing Everything Into Extraordinary Travel

For us, a journey is never a financial product — it is a living, evolving experience. We are committed to uncovering the most authentic stories, people, and hidden corners of every destination.

At each location, we collaborate with local experts who have spent over eight years exploring the region and truly know how to experience it at its best. Every destination, our product managers spend up to two months on-site, building meaningful connections with local communities and discovering the most genuine, original experiences for our guests.

Every scouting trip includes well-travelled travel content creators who test our routes and provide professional feedback, helping us refine and polish each itinerary.

Once a trip officially launches, we designate one guest on every departure as our “quality guardian.” Their insights and suggestions ensure that our journeys consistently meet — and continue to evolve with — the highest international standards.

Our pricing

As a Destination Management Company based in China, we work directly with local partners across every province — from experience providers and boutique hotels to restaurants, drivers, and expert guides. This direct, on-the-ground collaboration allows us to deliver the best possible price for the same level of quality, without unnecessary intermediaries or inflated markups.

Because we manage everything at the source, we maintain full control over service standards, safety, authenticity, and pricing transparency. Our long-term partnerships also mean we receive priority access, insider knowledge, and unique experiences that are not available through typical agencies.

By staying close to the ground and close to our partners, we ensure every journey is crafted with precision, authenticity, and unmatched value.

Giving Back

Responsible travel at our hearts

We give back by supporting local Tibetan herder families through our snow leopard tracking program. A portion of your trip fee helps fund compensation for livestock losses, strengthens our community-run spotting network, and promotes harmony between people, wildlife, and the fragile highland ecosystem.
